Heron RO-HP-A11 Purifier Filtering Process
Stage 1: Polypropylene ( PP) Filter – PP filters also known as Polypropylene filters that purify water by capturing and removing dirt and harmful particles and chemicals from the water. It is the first water filtering process which plays an important role in removing dirt particles in the initial stage.
The PP filter life time is 3 months. That is, the PP filter should be changed every three months. But it depends on the water quality.
Stage 2: GAC/UDF – A GAC filter, also known as a UDF or activated carbon filter, is a device used to remove impurities and pollutants and other bad chemicals from water and make water 99% pure.
The GAC/UDF filter life time is 6 months. That is, the filter should be changed every six months. But it depends on the water quality.
Stage 3: CTO Filter (Net Carbon Filter) – CTO water filter or Net Carbon filter, is used in water filtration systems to remove chlorine, chemical, bad taste, and odors from drinking water. It is the second water filtering process which plays an important role in removing dirt particles and making the water pure .
The CTO filter life time is 6 months. That is, the CTO filter should be changed every six months. But it depends on the water quality.
Stage 4: RO Membrane Filter – RO Membrane plays the most important role in this entire filtering process. RO Membrane removes various ions, salts, bacteria, viruses dissolved in water and makes water suitable for drinking.
The RO membrane filter life time is 1 year. That is, the RO membrane filter should be changed every twelve months. But it depends on the water quality.
Stage 5: Post Carbon Filter – It removes residual molecules that cause bad taste in water, which purifies your water to provide better tasting water.
The Post Carbon Filter life time is 6 months. That is, the taste and odor filter should be changed every six months. But it depends on the water quality.
